eom-dbg software package provides Eye of MATE graphics viewer program (debugging symbols), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eom-dbg
eom-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eom-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eom-dbg *
You will get with eom-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
